The word Alamout contains a part of Iran’s rich history. Alamout is the combination of the words “Ala” which means eagle and “mout” meaning nest. These words have been compounded through the time.
The Alamout fort is located in the heights of Alborz mountains chain, in Qazvin province which is near Iran’s capital, Tehran.
There is an amazing and eye-catching lake named Avan located in the green foot of the Alamout Mountain which emphasizes the importance and trait of this historical place.
The Alamout Company started its activities in 1994 with achieving the authorization from Iran’s aviation organization and Cultural Heritage Organization of Tourism and Handicraft Industry.
After just six months the company became a member of IATA in the first session of AIP by achieving the required points.
In 1996, the Alamout Company after receiving the train sale authorization from Raja Passenger Trains Company, expanded its activities by selling train tickets in the internal rail network and some international routes as well.
After a short time the Alamout Company was accepted as a member of the international convention, UFTA.
At the moment, the Alamout company is managed by 22 expert employee in the following regions:
